Websites, Usability Testing, & Tutorials
The following document presents an overview of the website redesign I conducted for Texas State University's MATC program. I redesigned the website to accommodate for Texas State University's new content resource management software and marketing profile. The new marketing profile set guidelines and controls for the website's typography, colors, branding, and layouts. I designed the website architecture based on the tasks required by incoming and current students and determined the best menu titles based on card-sorting test I administered. I designed the new website to utilize integrated platform features like images, text boxes, lists, icons, and call-to-action buttons to encourage readers' engagement with the website's functions.
The following document contains two usability tests I conducted on the Texas State University MATC website. My initial test included a closed card sorting test of the current menu headings to determine areas of nomenclature confusion and categories that might be irrelevant for inclusion. My initial usability test involved a short pre-test interview, a task-based user test, and a post-test interview and evaluation form. I conducted my second usability test after updates were made to the website based on the findings and recommendations of the initial test. My second usability test consisted of a pre-test interview, a task-based user test, and a post-test interview and evaluation form. After the second usability test, I made adjustments to the website based on testing outcomes. The website was then reviewed by Texas State University's Marketing and Content Management Department, I.T. Department, and Accessibility Office for final approval. I adjusted the website based on feedback from all three departments and the website was then approved to go live for a general audience.
The following document details payment tutorials I created as the President of my condominium association (COA). I created these tutorials for tasks associated with (1) making and changing monthly COA payments and (2) paying special assessments. I created these tutorials as part of a larger communication management program, utilizing a Google Workspace website, for sharing pertinent COA information.
Professional Document Creation & Management
I created the above Request for Quote documentation for a large-scale community construction project which included bid requests from multiple construction professionals. I created the quote request to guide construction professionals on the parameters of the requested job and inform them of expectations for returned quotes. I utilized headers and hierarchies for ease of browsing and reading. I also created the form as an available template for the construction professionals if needed.
The above document details a financial tracking Excel form I developed as President of my condominium association (COA) with the goal of creating a central repository for monthly, annual, and historical financial data since inception. I created this project to increase the Board's understanding of the overall financial health of the COA and to provide insight into areas of financial risk and opportunity.

The above document is an Annual Financial Budget Report that I developed utilizing Excel. My goal in developing this document was to track the monthly cash flow of the condominium association (COA) and the overall financial health of the community funds. This document includes cash flow for annual income and expenses, in addition to special assessment funds and savings plans.

The above is a collection of reports and presentations I created as condominium president (COA) for a large-scale community construction project. I utilized these reports for regular updates and presentations to the community to effectively describe construction issues and disclose construction timelines. My goals for these documents were to streamline complex information into manageable chunks, keep residents on-task during COA meetings, and seek community feedback and suggestions.
I included the above Gantt Charts to demonstrate my process for managing timelines and projects. This particular document is the tool I'm using to plan and manage my home sale and relocation upon graduating from graduate school. This is my preferred planning tool for measuring progress, outcomes, setbacks, deadlines, and success on large-scale projects.
